NUX Amp Academy - Demo and Review

This is one of the best AA review/demo have seen. I love my amp academy. I use different IRs with mine. Very good they continued to update it. Nice surprise to get 6 new amps this year.

great video! do you know if it is possible to get the aux in signal to go only to the headphones out and not the main out? I am looking at this pedal as a backup for iem gigs and wonder if I can direct monitor from the pedal, that would achieve that! than you keep up the great work!

What an amazing review! thanks. pretty straightforward and useful. One question...i probably missed....what about the overall output volume controlled from the pedal?. Master is the master of the amp...is there any way to control it??....someone told me there was a combination of knobs to do it...but I couldn't find the answer...thanks!

Just taken delivery of an NGS6. Manual implies it is just plugged in and links to PC, DAW and Editor app. It doesn't ! None of those recognised the unit. Tried updating drivers but that didn't help. Took me half a day any several emails to the supplier and NUX before finding out that I had to ignore the message on the software updater that says the NGS6 could not be detected before updating the firmware. Why do I have to do that anyway? Surely the supplier - Artist -and/or NUX should ship a turnkey product. It's not for Customers to make things work! After updating and trying many combinations within the editor found that NO combination was to my liking. The only good thing about the NGS6 is that it is a nice clear i/f into my Reaper DAW. Otherwise I don't like it at all!

the NUX is the lowest latency budget modeler. and the Boss GT1000 is the lowest latency ...... but both have no post amp compression !!!! WHY ??? if the compressor is before the amplifier then I know I don't even want to use it. post amp compression in the only reason I would want a modeler in the first place .... but I don't want latency either, so out with the FM3 latency; and there is Nothing, NOTHING !!!!
