This song has so much energy, at least the beginning. Sounds like Igorrr was composing entire day, tired, not coming up with anything Igorrr enough, and then something made him angry and he was like “fuck it” and went nuts on the synth, and added the other noises such as vacuum cleaner later. Or maybe not. I can’t fathom just casually composing things like this.

Cornelius Talmage try looking harder and not using confirmation bias. Then come back and check in after you've filtered the "wow I love this music cause most people find it un-listenable, I use merzbow to get to sleep, I like oxxo xoox cause it's so inaccessible, projekt misanthropia is easy listening," and all the people smugly talking about how they enjoy thhis "out there" music. then go search for comments like mine, telling the dumbasses that suck their own dicks to eccentric music that they aren't special. just look at any harsh noise wall, noise metal, drone, "experiments" like Igorrr, danger music, speedcore, etc. etc.
@job2k656
@job2k656 8 жыл бұрын
You mean a handful of comments, maybe an abysmal 2-5% fit your description, but they are all you can see because your own confirmation bias. Chill out and let people be who they want to be eh?
@skutigera
@skutigera 8 жыл бұрын
job2k6 more than a handful. a lot more bud. I listen to a LOT of "inaccessible" music like this. Every video has a good amount of cunts saying the aforementioned things, especially the songs that got semi-famous. it may seem like a handful on like one video you clicked on, but depending on the song, its almost 90% of the comments.

So, my dad just discovered Spotify and he loves it. The weekly mixes Spotify makes for him are quite comical, because he likes metal, 70's prog and church music. If you would mix all those songs it basically becomes this beast. Somehow he is not really into Igorrr, but he thinks it's funny though.

Sorry for the slow answer, I was busy doing nothing. Now, let's continue my 2 month-old comment: I think that the idea behind this music is that behind all the happiness presented in religious songs and promises, there is actually madness making the religion live and expand, meaning people are getting tortured to accept practicing the religion, causing mental illness and revealing the cruel part of christianity. Note that I'm talking about Midle Ages christianity and that it's really not comparable to nowadays religions. PS: Please excuse my broken english, I'm french and english is not my main language.

I really like this, but it feels like a guilty pleasure because I am challenged in recommending it to people i know. I expect the usual banal questions such as "what genre?", "how is it live?", "are they as good as so-and-so?". To which i can only reply, "I don't care. just listen." .
