just my opinion but would have preferred them do some more of the drums sounds live. all those ride bells are just samples. still a very cool recording though. guess it is difficult to decide where to use samples and where to use raw live sounds

Because if you mix a wonderfully cooked chicken steak with tasty chocolate and sour cream, you’ll get a dish called “total crap”. Not everything should be mixed together just because you can do that. Igorr is not THAT bad but it’s miles away from, say, Mechina who mix death metal with orchestral sci-fi themed space opera with some ambient piano chill tracks and much more
