That little bar small bar/lever on the BV can be pushed up to remove the BV, at least on newer ones. Also, the printers are usually thermal. No ink.its completely safe to remove reels and the BV with the power on.

Do they all have that fan at the top? How hot would things get if you unplugged that fan?

The board that you wasn't for sure about up top, is the amplifier for the sound.

found one of these machines at a junk yard today lol. it wont accept quarters and flashes "12" in the winner paid box. apparently theres a battery on the pcb thats no good so im going to try and tear it apart and fix it. worse case scenario ill just bring it back there.

Certain boards you can remove the green battery that soldered on as well as J13 i believe

If you're having battery problems check the coin battery If your door optics aren't working bypass them if your machine thinks it's always open it's never going to work Store optics are in thought the bills alligator as well as above the door on the front where you put the money in
