The number one skanking tune of all times, back in the day, would be pulled up at least 6-8 times, without doubt the hardest tune on the planet back in the 80, who knows , know

Absolutely agree. This track was and still is an awakening that the Most High is present in your foot steps for that is all I would have in my mind when I used to be skanking. Give thanks to Shaka. 🙏
Fatman was the frist to play thisdub but shaka had more cuts and played them heavier in true rataman style
@rusirani27316 ай бұрын
That is not correct!! Shaka was the first sound to play this…FACT!! This tune was rough mixed by Paul Smykle at Island Studios.. Shaka then tidied the mix up… he essentially mixed these 2 cuts!! Back in 1978/79 people used to go check Shaka dance because of the buzz around this. Accurate history mi ah describe iyah 🙏

Unfortunately in my opinion his style has changed over the years to a more generic sound alike dubs with no particular character, not much Jamaican roots vocalist based dubs from the likes of d brown/Delgado/ Johnnie Clark/Osbourne etc like back in the day when the crowd was local.

That’s because it’s not the Revolutionaries… the raw riddim was laid by a British band called Black Volts… Paul Smykle rough mixed it and then Shaka added his touch!! This is a UK roots tune, trust me🙏
