बहुत बहुत आभार संदीप जी मैं भी भारतीय रेलवे में फिरोजपुर छावनी जंक्शन पर विद्युत अभियंता हूं। यहां से रेलवे विद्युतीकरण का कार्य हमारा ही विभाग देख रहा है। कभी कभी काम के सिलसिले में हुसैनीवाला जाना पड़ता रहता है, हमारे शहीदों की स्मारक तथा पंजाब मेल का पुराना डब्बा जो वहा है, सतलज नदी पर बना वह पुल जिसके ऊपर से कभी एक समय में पटरिया पाकिस्तान में जाया करती थी ये सब चीजें कभी कभी बंटवारे का घाव हरा कर देती है।

Yes you are right . This tract was built later on during construction of Hussainiwala Headworks around 1920. Old Railway tract used to pass through Kaiser-e - Hind gate.

Aap ne jo Hussain wala bridge dikhaya us ko 1971 me uda diya gaya tha aur shaidi samarak ki diwar shayad kuch change lagi Hussain wala village ko bahut nuksan hua tha maini khud apni akhon sey dekha tha pakistani cross kar jate to ferozpur nahi bacha patey punjab regiment bahut dileri sey lari.but gainda singh post ka lost hua temporary kyu ki us ke baad India ka offensive start hua . Taking Electrification to Hussainiwala is one of the Marvellous and proud achievement of Indian Railways and Railway Electrification Project. The special trains run to Hussainiwala from Ferozepur Cantt. - Ferozepur City on two days. On 23rd March Matrydom Day of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev, a gathering is held in which lakhs of people attend to pay homage to martyrs. On 13th April Vaisakhi, peopke take a dip in holy Sutlej river. Kaiser- e- Hind Bridge was actually known as Empress Bridge. In 1971 battle, one of the fiercest and bloodiest battle was fought here. In pre partiton era, Punjab Mail used to go from Bombay to Peshawar ,Lahore from here. Many other trains used go to Lahore from Ferozepur crossing Hussainiwala- Kasur - Raiwind- Walton Cantt. - Lahore on this route. Before 1971 war, Hussainiwala - Ganda Singh Wala was the only border crossing point for trade between India and Pakistan.
