I went on this route from Kollam to Sengottai during the metre gauge days. I didn't know at that time the beauty that would be there in this route. I was going to explore the waterfalls in the area. Glad that now the route is a more comfortable broad gauge section. Nice coverage in your video. Keep it up. Love the sound of the diesel loco.

Superb journey in scenic Western Ghats. I had traveled in Madras Mail from Quilon Jn to Madurai Jn. In October 1978. The train departed from Kollam Jn. around 13 Hrs and reached Madurai Jn around 19 Hrs. One of the best routes in Southern India.

Bhayi 🙏 1982 se lekar meter guage bandh hone tak aur aakhri rail pe bhi safar kiya. Ek baat to apko sweekar karna hoga ki kollam (old name Quilon) railway station ka staff bahut hi non-cooperative aur battamiz, raha. *sengottai* se pehle *Aryankau* mein famous *Ayyappa temple* hai. Kafi samay ke baad purane yadon ko yaad dilaya - dhanyavaad 🙏 *rameswaram to faizabad, OMG! More than 65 hours, hats off to your energy- God bless you*
