I think you better look at your Kohler manual and see how your valve cover and components go together.

Thanks I found that out after I started it and it leaked oil and was having blow by, but got it all corrected Thank you for the imput.

Here for the tractor always wanted to do a full restore on something I could use for tilling and plowing but always doing something for work instead.
