I recently bought a box of old CaseIH training / marketing / educational / video cassettes at an auction. I decided to share them here and hope you find some of them as interesting as I did. Enjoy!

One of the best tractors ever made. 20 years later they still get it done as good as when they were new

@Hanson967 That''s right: Most of the Magnum (7100/7200/8900) was IH. In fact early production 7100 Magnums still had IH stamped into many of the castings underneath!

I LOVE that Tractor. Those are some great improvements. I still enjoy driving my 2590 (especially since I put in my new stereo and speakers)

Our farm was run by green for years. Then the JD dealer changed ownership and it was impossible to deal there any more as well as the IHC deal was also bought out but the opposite took place there they would deal so over a 5 year period our farm went red to our surprise the IHC used almost half the fuel. The the disaster of farming history happened an oil company and JP Morgan took over 3 quarter remaining farm equipment manufacturing. In our area this year people and 2 colonies had to resort to using their old tractors and neighbours who still had old tractors to get their crops seeded. The new crap would leave them stranded totally and the dealers mechanics had zero clue how fix the latest tec because it was to resent. In one case a 21 dollar sensor cost the farm over 2000 dollars by the time the dead horse was trucked in to the dealer fixed and trucked back. 2 local farm manufacturing families were bought out by CNH because the plants were running at 87 percent efficiency but it only took the 7 years of professional management to bring them to what they are now 35 percent efficiency. From quality manufacturing to part making farmed out to the lowest bidder with the equipment barely working for two years but 7 to 10 time the cost to buy. One small problem once caused the whole assembly line to stall for 8 months with flying engineers in from every firm and continent costing millions of dollars to fix and finally a local boy with GDP grade 12 snuck into the compound with a simple tape measure and learned that a plate had been jigged to be welded on on the thickness of the steel over to the opposite side of the plate. Took him 5 minutes to find. This goes on daily. In the Saskatchewan circle of farmers we think so poorly of high ranking engineers that it almost a shame. The illiterate have often out performed them to the point that some manufacturers have totally shut down their R&D departments. It will change as the empires are all owned by the same investors or share holders and their greed system falls and we the people will take it all back and once again take on the responsibility to feed our fellow man. My last rant of 2019, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I just watched all you Magnum videos, they are great! Thank you very much for taking the time to share them! Do you happen to have any Maxxum videos?

Released at the same time as the original JD 8000 series. When the 8000 series pioneered a lot of technology and design that we see in new tractors today, old Magnums just feels old like something from the 80s. imagine the guys who made this video, if they only knew how tractors would be built in 2019 and how far behind they where from the green competition.

Nice but i think they just repeated most of the things from the 7100 series magnums and made them sound better
