Audi S4 A4 Windshield Washer Fluid Leak FIX! B8 B8.5 Washer Reservoir Leaking DIY

Since I purchased my S4 my washer fluid was leaking. I would receive a message of low fluid shortly after adding fluid, and I wasn't ever able to fill it up to the very top. If you are experiencing similar troubles, this may be your solution! I hope it helps you.

One thing to note guys is this isn't the only spot you can have a leak from, so you need to properly diagnose it. If you are unable to fill it to the very top, but it retains fluid and does not drain completely (you can tell by the low fluid notification) then this is likely your issue. Other leaks could be from the washer housing or a crack in the reservoir itself.

I noticed loose wire in engine bay that I had no idea where was it coming from . Your video helped me as it was one of connector to the washer reservoir. Thanks,

how did you get the reservoir funnel neck back into the side panel?

Just the reverse of taking it out. I think I mentioned it more specifically in a comment here as its been a while. You just have to be patient and twist/work it in and look where it hangs at various points.

Was the leak come from that rubber washer?

The round one I show at the end, yes. But leaks can come from elsewhere so make sure your actual reservoir isn’t leaking in other spots. Either way I’d replace the rubber grommet (part in description).

Would be similar if the reservoir is located in the fender. Just look up a diagram on a parts website to see.
