I have an 02 ecsb that's 5/8 on 22's with 265/35R22 tires. All McGaughys parts except for Belltech 2/3" springs (need to trim for the lean, but ran out of time). Went all the way down at first just because. The ride is better than i thought it would be, and we have some bad roads in northern NV. I do scrape in some places around town but it will be whole different story when i do my HD conversion and get a front bumper back on though. Haha

Agree! Right now if I take the molding off, it’s red underneath lol. I’m still waiting for my paint guy to do a complete color change. Then the moldings will be gone. 🤙

i did the same on the leaf spring bolt, figured that was my issue im having. Guess not. Do you know why im getting vibration after i lowered? Did a 6” drop on back 2” in front. Mainly on acceleration. If i let the pedal go it stops.

Maybe pinion angle? Or drive shaft u joints? Usually when you go down 6” in the rear, the front is usually 4”, so the flip kit helps angle the diff down a little to compensate for the trans angle. Since yours is not quite as low it might be over correcting. That’s just a guess tho, I could be totally wrong. I would start with the u joints or just make sure you tighten everything under load

Hey man .. nice truck .. quick question .. do all nbs stepside come with the same bed size (length) or does some of them come shorter ? ... I wonder .. cuz I've seen couple of nbs stepside with shorter bed or they seemed to me shorter ??

Yeah they all the same size for the step side bed but if you just have a regular bed they come in 2 sizes long and short.

I know for fleetsides there are 6.5ft, 8ft, and 5.75ft. I’m not sure if the stepsides come in 5.75ft.

Honestly I like the fact that the IHC kit uses factory shocks. You'll never get as much travel using drop shocks. With that being said, the lower you go and the skinnier tire that you use, the worse the ride will be. It all depends on what you consider smooth

Nope. Probably due to the big tires. What size you running? I like to run a 30” diameter setup. Be careful tho cause the gas tank hangs the lowest. 🤙

@@CheeHooGarage im on 18s with a 235/50 , i do probably need to go up to a 55. My gas tank is low, but not nearly as bad as the front crossmember. Here in Tennessee the hilly/bumpy roads get me. Lol
