IHE Delft 💧 BRB Inland Water Transport

The BRB node focuses on Inland Water Transport (IWT) between India and Bangladesh within the Brahmaputra River Basin, which attempts to represent a hallmark of regional cooperation. Our research aims to ascertain the potential of IWT to catalyse transformative changes within basin communities by analysing its impact on socio-economic dynamics and environmental sustainability.The webinar will outline our study's research design and initial findings. Additionally, we identify the low-hanging fruits where interventions are poised to yield substantial benefits. Lastly, we provide a roadmap for our future research, outlining our way forward.
