Vincel Gill sets the standard on many levels, as a man, a musician, a father, and a magnificent human being. I hope some of his virtues rubbed off on Don Henley; Don needs more Vince a hell of a lot more than Vince needs any Don.

That was so beautiful when the interviewer said they were all there honoring him because he honored himself. What a beautiful message. It made me cry. 🥲💖🙏

I've been blessed to spend a little time with Vince. I'm not in the music business, I'm just a nobody. But Vince treats me like an equal. He's kind, generous, gentle, and humble. There's no "star ego" with Vince. He's a great human being.

This man has one of the most beautiful GOD's gifts, "Carisma", and it resumes in his "humility" that makes him a great human being, composing and singing from his soul and heart he touches and reaches the sensibility of every person. God bless this man so much, and I know he will.

Really enjoyed his tribute on CMT the other night. I’m perplexed though, where was Patty Loveless? She was involved in so many of his hits and they had such a chemistry.

I really love your music Vince Gill I love your wife's music too. I'm really hoping and praying to get to meet youn's by spring of next year. I love to sing I practice my singing everyday. I don't know how to play any instruments or even write music. I'm really also praying that I can possibly go to a few kereioke bars and sing. Maybe get to meet your family that way.

Norma, consider joining Vince's fan club, then when you can catch a show, get a meet and greet packg. I think he'll probably be doing those again next year if covid is gone. You won't get much time with him, but for that little bit of time it's just you and Vince.

God chooses ordinary people for greatness. Moses had a speech impediment, he stuttered, and he led the nation of Israel. To prepare Moses to lead Israel to the promised land, God didnt send Moses to UCLA to get an MBA. Moses hearded sheep for 30 years. Just a humble shepherd. If Vince Gill just played a Telecaster, he would be a giant. It’s remarkable to see someone so gifted so humble.

I grew up on the Souther, Hillman, Furay band, Poco, Stone Poneys, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, New Riders of the Purple Sage, etc. Although singularly good musicians, I view the Eagles as less talented, more commercialized version of southwestern rock and blues. In addition, they were the first band to charge over a hundred bucks a ticket for a concert. So yeah, I guess it's the commercialized overplay as much as anything.

Vince Gill in the Eagles is not really much of a departure if you think about it. The Eagles started off much more country rock, and then evolved into more of a regular rock band toward the end of the 70s. Vince was in Pure Prairie League around that same time and into the early 80s, and they were in kind of that same genre as the Eagles.

Don Henely will always be a greedy punk for the way he and Frey treated Don Felder. No excuses.

And it's worse than that ... Henley has directed his UMG music publishing group to be tyrants in terms of taking down people's innocent KZbin videos that cover Eagles songs. Our band posted an 8-minute promo video of which 22 seconds were our band performing a cover of Hotel California. UMG took it down in less than 30 days.
