Skypod is a Goods to person Picking system technology by EXOTEC, France's Startup Company. IHI has partnered with EXOTEC and get the license to be a distributor. The management system has changed the behavior of managing work in the warehouse by changing from employees walking to pick up products to products move to the employees. It works by robots to pick up the goods as ordered. The robot can run up and down the rack to pick up the bin according to the position that has been ordered by itself and delivers the goods to the staff to pick up at the picking station. The Skypod system can be linked to other logistics systems. Thus, it can increase logistics efficiency and reduce people as well.
