actually the metal slug formula works, give us 3 heroes, with different skills and give some of the enemies unique characteristics and you have the best elevator action game. also the graphic is beautiful at the time

what? this is nothing like metal slug, and there was no difference between the it's playable cast (besides aesthetic)

@@SteamGrace no difference? different bomb type, different fire rate. not much of a difference?
@SteamGrace2 жыл бұрын
@@alfan0079 are you still talking about metal slug? because there is no difference between bomb types and fire rate between characters. maybe it was a metal slug game i haven't played? but the 90's arcade ones only featured aesthetic differences between characters

At 16:14 the player is able to walk through the subway carriage. I've played versions of this game where that doesn't occur - screen scrolling stops and the player appears on the right side of the carriage. Anyone else experienced this? Fantastic arcade game though, Saturn port is excellent too.

I used to play the original game in the arcade back in the day. I had no idea they made a sequel.
@JustWasted3HoursHere3 жыл бұрын
Me neither, but this one was distributed in Japan only (probably because they felt the extremely heightened violence compared to the original might get them in trouble, especially setting people on fire and killing dogs.)
@stevengreen95363 жыл бұрын
@@JustWasted3HoursHere I think it would have been more the setting people on fire. But if that is the case it is a poor excuse for two reasons. First games like Mortal Kombat and a few others were out at the time. Which were much more extreme. Second they could have just edited the american version where they just drop dead or something.
@JustWasted3HoursHere3 жыл бұрын
@@stevengreen9536 True on both points, but Japan is known for being quite conservative and so they may have erred on the side of caution just to be safe. As I remember it Mortal Kombat (and others like Killer Instinct) actually did get some negative publicity back in the day. Some versions of both games sold for US market consoles had the blood and some other aspects of the game removed (though I think they could be activated via a series of button presses at the appropriate time...).
@stevengreen95363 жыл бұрын
@@JustWasted3HoursHere Yeah remember the controversy. The SNES version of Mortal Combat gave you the option to turn the blood off.

Thanks for the video... In this game, can you also all the same actions/things on the original NES game? In the original game, you can... (iinm) 1. Crushed by the elevator (on top or below) 2. Crushed enemies using the elevator 3. Jump to one floor below without using elevator (more than that and you died) 4. Fall to your death
