Blair isn't an egotist, she isn't detached from reality, she isn't emotionally lashing out; she's furthering her cycle of abuse against Oz and the others whom she is torturing. It's abuse, plain and simple, even down to the court involvement. That's a CLASSIC step of high-end abuse and manipulation. So, there's your word for her. Abuser.

I think Blair is loving the fact Oz is in so much emotional/psychological pain. I think she is joyous at the fact his partner suffered a miscarriage. It’s common knowledge that stress can cause miscarriages, she knew that, she hates children, and she hates Oz.
@HavianEla4 ай бұрын
Man, the sad part is I can genuinely envision her thinking that way. Some folks have such an irrational and very passionate HATRED of children, so they view them as subhuman, treating them without any basic human decency…. Blair comes off as such an individual, given past statements made by her. It’s also alarming and shows that a pattern is forming when she victimizes two people with complicated pregnancies the way she did.

@mountaindesert347884 ай бұрын
That's awful- did she actually do that shit *knowing* it could affect the pregnancy?! And it's messed up that's not the only person she did it to- Madison/CruelWorldHappyMind was another victim. Blair caused her a ton of stress while pregnant. And I couldn't tell if Blair did that just bc that's how she is OR if she knew she could ruin Madison's pregnancy? It sounds more like that now given she did this to (at least) 2 people 😢 Fortunately, Madison had her baby and afaik the baby is OK. She talked about this on her channel. So it is really messed up! I also was born from a stressful pregnancy- poor country, birth mom drank during pregnancy and likely had mental health issues. It was right after the USSR fell and people were poor asf. I was adopted to the US at 18 months but my early infancy was not good at all + likely a stressful pregnancy. I was severely neglected like rhe other orphans and that can hace serious impacts on your development. I *only* have bad adult teeth and some form of PTSD + substance use disorder from this but it could have been a lot worse given the alcohol during pregnancy, rough living conditions and neglect I suffered during an important stage of development. I really feel for people who were also born from stressful pregnancies and the mothers who suffered from the stress (or even miscarried which is traumatic on its own.) What Blair did to Oz + his wife(?) And to Madison was so evil and cruel. I'm relatively OK given what I went through but it is really sad how stress during pregnancy can kill.

I didn't find why, but found second hand comments stating that Blair blamed my two favorites of sad milk (the click and one topic) for its purge. I didn't believe the comments about them, so I dropped Blair and the other members of sad milk entirely (which included Oz, which I'm sad to realize I lumped him in with his abuser) A year later I tried to watch one video she made on a topic I really wanted info about. I couldn't finish it because she had these really obnoxious audio cues for when a magnifying glass would appear in her avatar's hand. I later on watched the click's, one topic's, and one of Oz's videos about it, and then eventually Hbomberguy's video about plagiarism. (More people should watch the bonus video he uploaded on his second channel that went more into detail about how she gets a lot of facts wrong) By the time I found out about the majority of what happened, I had already gone through the stages of feeling icky and gross for having supported Blair. I cannot imagine how bad other people who had been actively watching when all this info came out must have felt.

I knew about the anti-union practices but figured she would need proof, so I quickly searched for an article and put it into the tweet. To my surprise, she actually did respond… with a screenshot from early in the article about how the union vote was allowed to happen so therefore they weren’t anti-union. But it was clear that she hadn’t read the article fully and was just scrolling for a “gotcha” moment, because later in the article, workers talked about how Hello Fresh has hired anti-union firms and intimidated workers. I even replied with more sources about their anti-union stance, bur she had never responded. The whole interaction had left a sour taste in my mouth afterwards. Once all of this came out, I realized the reason it really did make me feel bad: because she was never really in KZbin for exposing bad business. The second I heard she was trying to become a landlord pretty much solidified that she didn’t actually care about us. And, for those curious, that Hello Fresh union vote ended with those voting against the union. I wonder how that conclusion could’ve been influenced by any anti-union firms? Guess I’ll never know.

Blair WAS rich. I don't think she is anymore. What we're seeing here is a result of Blair painting herself into a corner and deciding to take a sledgehammer to the corner. She WAS once wealthy, but she's always had money problems due to her impulsive spending and terrible credit score. That's why she trapped Oz and other minions in debt, low hourly rates, and bad investments. She frequently used HIS credit score to buy cars and mortgages for her factory town. NOW, her channel is gone, crypto is dead, her financial habits probably haven't changed. She is now way stuck in this lawsuit where she has sunk tens of thousands of dollars into this snipe-hunt of a civil suit. She has NO CHOICE financially but to keep going to possibly claim monetary damages to get ANY of that money back.

Thank you, have a nice day." The beauty if #2 is true, Blair didn't see a penny of Oz's curing of the loan, it went to the state LMAO.

Just to clarify, and I know that it doesn't feel good, but... The judge is not required to do background research. They are only required to look at the motions filed and the evidence presented. If either Blair or Oz and crew want the judge to "understand KZbin culture" they need to present the history of the conflict and of the public interest (or lack there of) through data. Also, it's important to note that there is no jury at this time, this is all pre-trial litigation so the judge can decide IF a trial is warranted. Finally, as to "why is the judge being so lenient?" They legally have to. At this stage, all evidence and filings must be viewed in the light most beneficial to the plaintiff (Blair). To protect the case from Blair appealing a dismissal and starting all of this over again, they have to give her the best possible chance to prove what she's claiming.

Some states (including Colorado) have anti-SLAAP laws to prevent silencing. But legally they still have to allow Blair (as the plaintiff) to bring her evidence forward to prove she has a case, to which Oz's lawyers can then file a motion to dismiss, citing the anti-SLAAP law. The burden for Oz's team is then to prove that Oz speaking out against Blair was in the public interest (since the law was conceived to protect journalists and protestors). Based on my understanding, Blair is also trying to skirt this legal defense by claiming that Oz is violating an NDA he signed, making this a breach of contract and confidentiality, rather than strictly a defamation case. To my understanding, judges are not allowed to conduct their own investigations into cases and can be sanctioned for doing so (depending upon the jurisdiction). It sounds weird, but it's because it's the job of the lawyers to present that kind of evidence to the judge/jury. Even if multiple KZbinrs are doing the same content the commentary by the KZbinr makes their video unique. And people will watch multiple KZbinrs talking about the same thing. For instance, I watch a lot of meme or short video commentary channels. A lot of them have talked about the video of the squirrel flying into the house when the lady opens the door for a pizza delivery. Only one pointed out how that must have looked to the delivery guy. He didn't see the squirrel, in his eyes the lady opened the door screamed, and slammed the door shut again. Anyway Felix's lawyer should have done a better job at spelling out the facts. He wasn't an employee at that time, the NDA was signed several months later and isn't retroactive. What makes this all the worse is like you said, there is NO WAY Blair has not seen Oz's video asking for her to come to an agreement. The problem it has caused is that this has proved to Blair that she is hurting Oz, which is what she wants. I know for a fact that Judges prefer it if people settle or come to some agreement outside of court (usually even asking both parties to meet right before the judge sees them to come to do so), and the fact that Blair is willing to just sit back and say NOTHING just shows she is only doing this to make Oz suffer. I honestly wish Oz could counter sue for emotional damages due to everything this lawsuit has caused him, but from everything Oz has show, he wants nothing more than to wash his hands of this whole sordid ordeal. I wish Oz and his partner only the best and that they can somehow come out on top of all this. And if Blair somehow reads this, I hope she knows that the judge won't be so kind when he learns that she ignored a settlement/agreement just for her petty bullshit.

15:27 judges are NOT allowed to do ANY independent investigation. It can create “undue bias”. This is the responsibility of the lawyers. So no matter how MUCH the juste may have wanted to look the stuff up, they CANNOT. That judgement would easily be overturned on any appeal. Again, this is the lawyers job. Also, for stuff like protective/restraining orders there’s almost never a jury (I actually haven’t watched or heard of a case that has…hey, KZbin court crawls…yay!) It would have been a hearing and UNLESS it’s due to, say, DV and there’s fear for a person’s safety, the hearing HAS to involve the other party, too. By this I mean that unlike in some DV cases, the TPO or TRO (temporary protection/restraining order) hearing can be done ex parte (just the one party and the judge talk alone, etc. These are often very short lived as the defendant, even a total jerk is protected by the constitution (right to defending themselves, facing their accuser etc) So Oz’s lawyer(s) was more than likely there, they presented THEIR evidence which the judge CAN consider but should make their decision not only by reading the admitted evidence but more so by the legal arguments made by the lawyers plus the evidence, of course (hearings are in front of a judge only, no jury…so the judge is the “fact finder”.)

I am certainly not involved in the legal system, nor do I regularly watch any legal content, so I could be focusing on stuff that can't happen. So while I agree with you that they should not create bias in terms of researching any individuals involved, I do also agree with nabber about the fact that the legal system is very much behind on understanding social media in general. How social media influencers and their platforms interact with the general public, how they function as a business, etc. This doesn't apply to any one individual, but could give better understanding of the culture of the individuals involved. And I don't think that's an out of pocket idea. As the generations raised with social media slowly move into legal and political positions, understanding these topics is going to become normal. Perhapse if this all happened 10 years from now the outcome of how this case was handled/dismissed would be different.

Man, Oz is looking like the LEAST selfish person EVER. I’m relating to him so hard, being in a difficult situation, trying to take care of everything all at once… doing literally ANYTHING for yourself makes you feel like such a selfish, self-centered person… he just really isn’t. His “selfishness” is LITERALLY being there to emotionally support his grieving partner. That’s pretty far from selfish, if you ask me, especially as he likely shelved his own emotions at the time to properly take care of his partner. His partner is a blessed person to have him by their side, truly, as I’ve seen some really vile takes from others on how someone suffering from miscarriage should just be able to “move on”. It’s quite literally PHYSICAL TRAUMA the body endures that only serves to heighten the level of emotional trauma (a lot of people really fail to grasp how pain, especially chronic or severe pain, can quite literally wear at your mind), medical aftercare for such a tragedy is generally recommended, too, which would be yet another hefty expense Blair forced them to have to take.

Amazing deep dive into this all, thank you for your hard work! I just wanted to point out that during the trial talk, it is mentioned quite a few times that Blair gave ''empty or broken'' links to the legal teams. But that's not the reading I made of the situation. They specifically mention in the document if you pause to read that the links she provided ''does not produce the alleged posts'' and later that ''Nothing in either paragraph sets out the specifics as to how (blank) purportedly ''used'' confidential or proprietary information to defame or otherwise harm Plaintiffs.'' I think it's quite a bit worst than sharing empty links, I think that she thinks she has proof or dirt but she's so delusional that when a third party examines whatever she considers to be proof, they don't even see the link with the allegations. Being incompetent when it comes to legalese is almost the norm, nowadays, and that's fine, but that's not incompetence, that's moronic delusions, and it's quite in line with Hbomberguy's inquiry into the topic.

I have a sibling with severe mental health issues that have made them lash out at me and my family with violence, once nearly making me pass out due to being unable to breathe as they pounded on me. My face had, apparently, been turning blue and it took a family friend to pull them off of me (he’s the one who told me about my face turning blue). My sibling doesn’t recall this incident, at all, but claims they were the one who was actually hurt and victimized. All I had done was GENTLY grab their wrists when they were hitting themselves in the head with their fist and tried to get them to stop hurting themselves. That is FAR from the only time something like that had happened, though, frequently talking about “k!lling all of [us], and then [themselves].” They likewise don’t recall a lot of times they hurt me, and have related to me memories that NEVER happened. Apparently, some people just can’t comprehend themselves being an ab*ser and that they hurt others, so their brain works in overdrive to reframe things in their mind where they were the one wronged. I tend to think that’s a pretty common phenomenon, what with everyone being the hero in their own story. It’s also a part of why it’s so important to hold oneself accountable and try and view your own actions through the lens of others.

1:00:10 Worst part is that this is probably the best example of a SLAPP lawsuit I have ever seen. Oz was 100% absolutely objectively right in making an anti-SLAPP claim. Even if Blair was right, she still dragged this into court when that wasn't needed. That's peak anti-SLAPP. When your legal arguments are half-decent, but the issue sued over shouldn't be in court and the sueing just happens as a silenceing tactique. It's like solving fandom drama, cancel culture or messy celebirty breakups in court. It's possible, but the court isn't made for that. Especially when the suer is just doing it to ruin the life of the sued person. Anti-SLAPP as a toll exists EXACTLY against people like Blair. Who wanna fight friendship drama in court while ruining the person sued. That's not what the court is meant for! It's literally illegal to use courts like that! Again, if I understand it correctly, the judge should still dismiss because if for the sake of argument Blair is 100% right and Oz defamed etc. etc., the legal costs on Oz are still too big and the proven issue discussed is still too minor to make this a valid court case given anti-slapp laws. Like, if Oz is already going through so much, the court would never give him an extra punishment 'because of circumstances'. That's why you have anti-SLAPP laws. Because cases like these will not really result in anything supposing the Plaintiff is even right. It's like prankcalling 911, you're not allowed to just use powerfull services like courts or the police on anyone you dislike. That's waisting the power and time of these services that could actually go to places where it is actually needed! (Calm down Americans, this is the idea. I know it's not how it works irl, but that's the idea on which the court and anti-SLAPP laws are built.)

She did so when she thought she had something on him and looked no further into the facts. And she also did that in a very self destructive way when you realize she publicized what she "knew", because had something horrible been going on, she hadn't said anything for a long time because she wanted leverage. All that speaks directly to her character and in both view points it doesn't look good for her. She had been harassing Click a while previously. idk what she has against him, but she had made that fake account that was harassing him, following him around twitter and commenting about how he'd said the r word, etc. And that was where Felix came into it, because they told Click that basically it was Blair on her alt account, and provided the texts as proof. Perhaps it was all down to Blair's jealousy, or that he's too strong a personality for her to manipulate in other ways like she seems to have done with Oz & Wonder? I assume she thought that if she could discredit him and drive a wedge between him and the others, it would make it so that nothing he could say would have any validity because "he once said the R word (before he knew it was a slur in English)" and (as you pointed out) t"ime zones exist and his mods onndiscord do their job while he sleeps". If she had succeeded in destroying his reputation, she could have finally been pleased with herself, I guess?!. Idk if she has some kind of personality disorder (that seems unfair & belittling to those who do, but she definitely displays some traits), or if she is just an abusive bully?! I do know she and her lawyer are liars and manipulators, who seem to deserve each other. I would love to give the lawyer the benefit of the doubt, but the narrative they have spun about Oz being some kind of jealous revenge driven asshole would have easily been disproven for the lawyer once he started gathering the "evidence" for their lawsuit. So either he isn't doing the research...or he carEs about the truth as much as she does (iow: not at all). Blaming Blaire for the miscarriage is beyond stupidity. Stop jumping to conclusions just because you dislike someone. That's something actually stupid people do. Why do you want to use the methodologies of morons? Do better. For your own good.

I think making a miscarriage about internet drama is weird man like you literally don't know, all we know is that these people are grieving and you wanna make it because another person is stressing them out? That weird man that's just weird these poor people shouldn't have ppl theorizing and thinking about their miscarriage like this j bc of drama

Unfortunately, I don't think the legal situation is anywhere close to done. The judge is not allowed to research to gain context on this situation and is giving Blair a lot of leeway despite her disrespectful attitude to the legal process. With Oz's deal now off the table, this could be going through the courts for years to come until either one side wins or the case is dropped. And Blair will happily allow that to push more stress and financial strain onto her enemies. This is far from over.

@@atlandfrisk They wouldn't be allowed to. It'd be considered a conflict of interest.

@@exhaustedbaking I don't think any of the youtube lawyers are in a situation where it would be unethical to Help Oz. At least, I'm fairly sure Blair isn't a client at any of their firms. The real question is if any of them are QUALIFIED to help OZ: i,e are they in the right areas of law and barred in the right courts to do so.

i genuinely don’t know how she thinks she can convince a judge or a jury that they are at fault for her income loss considering the fact that i and many others found out about this entire thing from the comments on her own video 😭😭

Im honestly amazed she wasnt cancelled earlier, well over a year ago, she harrassed and accused a significantly smaller creator of plagiarism and copying her simply for covering a similar topic. And proceeded to dog and harass her on streams for making "low quality content" (the creator did more of a casual sit down coffee shop style) and when it turned around to question her quality of sources, blaire just doubled down on insults and encouraged viewers to do the same. It was honestly abhorrent. Im still amazed it didnt pick up traction given how blatantly shit her content was even back then

Or that time she made a video on a topic she was completely ignorant of and everyone who knew about it pointed that out. All twenty times that happened.

I’m not sure where Oz lives or what jurisdiction is in charge of all of this, but my husband is a criminal defense attorney, and I know it’s a civil matter, but OMG, he’s being taken to the bank. Everything Blair has done is outrageous and horrible, but it hurts me to think that an attorney would exacerbate this situation by overcharging. I’m 100% sure none of the people involved live in the state I do, so we can’t actually help, but please still. keep your Gofundme. I didn’t follow her before this drama, I only knew “The nab,” but OMG, I’m so pissed off.

@@J_Isak yeah I’m in Indiana, but my sister-in-law lives in Colorado and I might notice somebody who could potentially help, I know that my husband has helped her before. Truly, somebody will come forward and offer to represent him for cheaper, even if not out of their own good will , but because he has a fucking case. I’ll see what I can do, though I cannot promise anything at all, but with Nab’s audience and popularity, there is no way that there aren’t 10,000 people washing this in every state, and in this country, there is one lawyer for every 300 people. So come on up guys.

OzMedia needs to get an expert on social media to testify in his trial. This would give the judge a better idea on how KZbin culture works. However, this will be another major expense for cash-strapped Oz.

Would it be in poor taste to make a joke about asking the expert to do it "for exposure"? 😅
@TheDr5023 ай бұрын
Yeah, I agree with this. People are saying the judge needs to be an expert on social media or needs to be replaced, which doesn't make sense. The judge doesn't need to be a social media expert. That's like demanding a judge to be an expert on automobiles in a car insurance claims case. That's what an expert witness is for.

I love to see an channel about exposing people and their wrong doing get taken down after being exposed for wrong doings. Edit: The whole lawsuit section is something I hope people understand. A rich individual or company can get away with illegal actions because of what is being portrayed her. They just have to outlast the person suing them.

That is a wild and unscientific conclusion. Google is your friend, go read about miscarriage please. So much misinformation in this comment section, it is very disturbing. Blair is terrible, Blair is evil, Blair should not be torturing ANYONE with her BS, especially not vulnerable people. But saying that Blair caused a miscarriage is not something that there is any proof of. Saying Blair MAY HAVE contributed to a miscarriage is valid.

I watched Oz's video and when I heard him say he and his partner were going through a miscarriage, I suddenly felt sick. She knows them going through that just makes it easier for her to get her way. She's a vile person that doesn't care about anyone except herself. She can continuously poke the legal bear because she knows how it works and can use that to her advantage.
