3:55 The IIP3 is the value of the IP3 in the Input power axis and the OIP3 is the value of the IP3 in the output power axis.

yes Please do that.. Your videos clarify a lot of concept

Thanks for the video. I was able to understand what you were describing. I was looking at a job description and it required knowledge of the IIP3. You helped out a lot. Thanks again.

Really needed to know IP3 for work related assignment... And thanks to your video, I was able to grasp its fundamental in no time.

Second order terms can be filtered out but that doesn't mean the amplifier's output gain can be restored at the characteristics frequencies. We are still loosing the power at the output characteristic frequencies.

Very nice video..can u also explain relation b/w IIP3 and 1Db compression point that we have for non linear devices like mixers/LNA or may be detectors!!

By industry standards p1db and ip3 are 10dB apart

Thank you very much it was very useful. In Pozar microwave engineering 4th edition it the topic would be in chapter 10 page 513 your description was very useful

Why does the IIP3 cross the fundamental slope before the IIP2? Is there some reason for this? I mean, the slopes of IIP2 and IIP3 you’ve putted was 2 and 3, respectively. I just want to understand my first question. Oh, and by the way, both videos are great. Thank you for them.
@multi-talented79865 жыл бұрын
To answer your own question draw 3 lines with 30,60 and 90 degree slope , you will realize why that is happening.

A small suggestion: Also explain the dynamic range of the amplifier and how it is affected because of IP3. Moreover, how IP3 changes when it is reffered to as OIP3 and IIP3.

Thanks, Boss ; you are super, Even my teacher failed to explain it.

Excellent job dear.... IIP3 is nothing but Input refered IP3. If possible ebaborate extrapolation point in IIP3 measurements....
