IIT Madras is a great research institute but iisc Bengalore is at the top. If you are interested in research IISC>>IITM. And you can also prefer IISERs because IISERs are completely research oriented institutes and better than iits for research

Bro if you are looking only for placement please stay away from IISERs. They are the top research institutes and 80% students prefer PhD over placement in IISER's because this gives them a better opportunity. And one more thing PhD from top universities of the world and while doing a PhD you will get a stipend of 2-3 lakh per month in Europe and America. But if you are not interested in research you can't survive in IISER as their circulation is too hard and rigorous.

@@priyangsudas5167 इसका सिलेबस देख लीजिये, इसमें हायर मैथमेटिक्स को ज्यादा तबज्जो दिया गया है जबकि कम्प्यूटर साइंस को कम। हां यदि किसी का हायर मैथेमेटिक्स में ज्यादा इंटरेस्ट है तो उसके लिए यह कोर्स अच्छा है। आपका कहना है कि इसमें 2022 एआईआर 1 ने एडमिशन लिया है तो यह उसका पर्सनल डिसीजन है कि उसने आईआईटी के ऊपर आईआईएससी को तरजीह दिया लेकिन ऐसा हमेशा नहीं होगा बल्कि टापर हमेशा कम्प्यूटर साइंस एंड इंजीनियरिंग और आईआईटी को ही प्रिफरेंस देगा। आपने देखा होगा कि 2020 के टापर का इंट्रेस्ट फिजिक्स में था तो वह भी फिजिक्स पढ़ने के लिए एमआईटी यूएस चला गया था। बहुत कुछ इंट्रेस्ट के ऊपर भी डिपेंड करता है दोस्त।

If one is not good in maths then CSE is better but if one wants to do something great like contribution in super computers, Quantum computers, HFT, valuable new Algorithms etc this branch of MnC is of utmost importance and better than CSE. Actually highly paid HFT firms and research/development wings of big mncs prefer them for new product development, new algorithms etc.
