This is the best part about iisc banglore they've put some efforts into the student's living space. Something I don't see in almost every iit. Obviously these institutions are places meant to study but atleast have some basic general infrastructure and interiors. Not that I'm expecting some gauri Khan designed rooms😶

I was also there, all i would suggest is to seek professional help for any sort of confusion. Focus on rationality, there is definitely light at the end of the tunnel. You will eventually overcome it.

🛑 why IISC is too much biased towards girls ? • Girls have extra seats • Girls always get hostels, where boys in 1st year don't get hostels, they have to stay either in PG or in some guest house which is equivalent to sone "kachra ghar" :/ • Even girls earning >12400 (12400 stipend+many scholarships available for girls only) • Girls hostel rooms = 2 * (boys hostel rooms) Too much gender discrimination by IISC authority!!! 😢😢

actuallly, the female students are in general very less than male studens, 13 out of 70 students were girls in our batch decreased to 3 in junior btach, now they have started 20% quota for girls. so thats why boys have hostel scarcity. in general also, you would prefer a female to get hostel than male, because its safer for them to be living in hostels. did you btech also had some rules where girls had to get locked up in hostel early around 7pm whereas boys can wander wround late night? our btech hostel had this rule. so it seems pretty fair to me
