In her first major foreign-policy speech in Southeast Asia, Senator Penny Wong set out how the new government in Canberra plans to engage with ASEAN and the countries of Southeast Asia. She also explained Australia’s approach to foreign policy and its cooperation with regional partners at this moment of rising strategic competition.
