In the 4th sem if you will choose a project of 12 credits then there is no need to choose program elective. 3.INTERNSHIP does not matter to get a good placement at iitd(care). 4. In iitd internship is generally allowed during summer break i.e for 2 months but in special case, care faculty may allow for 6 months internship during 4th sem.

@@praveennegi8644 in hardware like VLSI you have to knowledge of electronics ..in this ur r designing ckt in cadence or using verilog or checking ckt while writing code in system verilog, basically you should basic charactistic of electronics ckt but in software u have to write code like we used to write in 1st year in c language.here electronics,ckt knowledge not required.both are logocal.any one can learn.

Cutoff n procedure is same for MSR and MTECH VDTT. If clg sponsor project then company will take interview n company want msr then company will take interview.only diff is duration i.e 2 to 3 year depends on prof.

I don't know much but as much as i know Acc to me IIT PATNA VLSI is better .. reason behind that iit patna allow one year internship after there is high chance for conversion ....last year placement of iit Kharagpur in hardware domain was not good even intel didn't visit iit Kharagpur last year

Now i understand that After getting RFDT admission with gate score &.....later....depending on gate score again we'll get into either Microelectronics or Signal processing or Microwave as Sub specialisations..? Right...? Studying microelectronics is my passion. What if i get Microwave instead of microelectronics....? 🤔 I've got low/average gate score. But i got offer of RFDT in round1. That means I'll most probably get microwave....right..?. What if they won't put me in Microelectronics sub branch......? How can i know (before it's too late) which sub specialisation I'll get...? Iam not really aware of these things sir. I don't know should i retain it or reject. Please clear my dilemma sir 😕 🙏. Please one reply

Earlier RFDT used to conduct interview and in interview they asked speculations.but this time they are taking interviews so after admission they will allot specialisation acc to gate score. So in round 1 if you got then i think you will get microelectronics but safer side retain n wait ,if you get vlsi in old iits then please choose that one , otherwise you can choose this
