These guys have been toppers throughout their life- above 90% in boards, 9 CGPA in college. They have been studious all throughout. Aspirants get fooled by seeing them. Even Gaurav sir had AIR 41 in IIT JEE and was a gold medalist at IIM. Average Aspirants can't emulate them or take inspiration from them. They are of a different Class.

exactly bro, we rarely have toppers who were average throughout academics ,studies in tier2 or 3 colleges and cracked the Civil services. Top 100 is full of IIT, IIM graduates. Not everyone are born with intelligence, for some people its just hardwork day in and day out.

The best thing about this video is that he is not sharing his story. Instead, he is repeatedly insisting on creating our own stories. Every applicant is different. What worked for someone will not work for others. Moreover, he is giving a logical framework for tackling the exam which is equally applicable for any other exam. Really helpful and inspiring.

Ultimately a B-school Grad did advertising by saying that he is not doing so. Few corrections for fellow human beings. He is humble enough to thank them for the services rendered but be careful they are also clever enough to decide whom they will give importance ( people passed out from premier institution, already in some service and looking for rank improvement). So don't think blindly that they are professional and please avoid falling into the trap. Most of them are for business only and are very selective in the way they deal with aspirants. Save your dignity at any cost as the point given by Sir about professionalism is not universally applicable. Mostly they misbehave and make fun of you that you are trapped. Lastly it was very mean on his part to first show that he is different and then pushing the audience into a sale trap directly. Amazing skills.

Gist of 40mins - know yourself, make your own strategy, MGP test series is good. This video neither gives any useful tips nor inspirational. So, he is saying he didn't see any topper strategy, he didn't take anyone's help in understanding the demand of the exam and he figured out everything by himself and cleared in the first attempt itself. These people would take help from their strong IIT and IIM alumnus network who would have cleared this exam. But as he was repeating all through the video, he was selling himself and while selling you can lie to make yourself an attractive product.

For such talks, I will prefer toppers to attempt writing actual sample answers on the board on let's say, a common question.. Maybe challenges of disaster management, use of mappings etc... Then, the talk will make more sense.... Giving the same type of talks won't do any more good for aspirants... He talked for more 30min... Cud have written atleast 2 answers for some relevant topic questions....and then use the remaining time to elaborate on some basic exam tips for aspirants. Moreover, such toppers Should deliver a balanced talk on both Prelims and Mains on their individual importance. A writing expert is no use without having the ability to clear Prelims. And an MCQ expert is no use if he cannot write basic answers - wide and concise (as this topper pointed out)

You're right, it's no use without sample answers, anyone can talk in the air; only examples make it clear. I had thought of it too, but it's not easy to write so much on a board, and this talk had gone on too long already. I'm still working, I haven't got much time yet. I will put it down soon, if not this week then surely next week.
