For three real distinct roots , G^2 +4 H^3 < 0,on solving I got k to be in interval ( -7, 20) so that option (a) is correct.

Sir un teen points me se do irrational points h -3+root of 105/4 & -3-root of 105/4, which means according to u are 1.something and -3.something. While plotting graph you draw point -3.something correctly, but don't you think the other point should be some close to origin coz it is 1.something??

If you take k=20 then root -2 is having multiplicity 2 but in question ask distinct root so ans is 16

Answer 16 hoga bro bcoz in question u ask to find the three distinct real roots ans if u will put k=20 then u will get the roots -2,-2 and 5/2.....so kisi dusre ko bolne se pahle khud sure ho jao
