@Byron 2456 What I personally feel is that, if a person has interest in a subject and is willing to try hard, he/she can overcome any boundaries. As far as I feel about chemical engineering, its a very good branch and also has a good placement ratio compard to other branches. Placement in all other branches are heavily affected by market situations. As a chemical student you can get placed in very good places like ONGC, GAIL, INDIAN OIL,etc which not only pays very well but are very reputed jobs. Thus I would suggest you to please proceed with whatever you like. That way you won't have regrets later in your life.
