I know it's hard. The majority of the people want an easy paying job (which is the reason people prefer computer science). But think beyond Btech. One can do Mtech then PhD, (with side earning through the internet). After that they can go for research field. (In the present time India is not preferable tho). They'll get a really good amount of money (in crores) + technology progress + extensive knowledge too. (I know it takes time, but I think it is completely worth it.). Maybe we can create great innovators again like Ramanujan, Gauss, Newton etc.

In science and technology space only those productive and sincere have slots. Those ideologically challenged must look elsewhere.
