what is the need of gas bottle in turbopump feed system?.. since the turbine runs the pump and the pump itself produce enough pressure for combustion.. pls help me out sir.

+Saravanan V the pump needs a pre-pressurization which is necessary to start running, and also check the characteristics of the pump ( the less inlet pressure , the more loses you get)

At the inlet of the pumps, there is a low-pressure region on the blade leading edge, which can cause cavitation, if the static drops at the vapor pressure of the liquid used. This can be extremely damaging, and maybe cause explosion depending on the liquid ^^. Thus, you need to supply a liquid already pressurized at the inlet. But a pressure way lesser than gas-only cycle for the same thrust
