Thank you for this video, working on a pitting corrosion problem at work with 2024, seems concentrated around copper rich inclusions, but the surface finish isn't great either. Fantastic revision.

For crevice a gap is necessary, but incase we have a wide area for stagnancy like you have shown in the end, will it be called crevice corrosion

He has not said a single word about how M2+ ion has been generated....how O2 has been produced...does it happen automatically.... Yahi haal India Ka bas rato aur aage badho.....aur bas 54 Min Ka video bana Diya Gaya hai toh bas feeling dekhlayega log ke itna lamba video banaya Gaya hai uspar bhi aapatti hai..... Raho feeling mein ...maro feeling mein....khud se bhi sense Nahi hai ke yahan kam se kam khud se discuss karde ke what is the reason of production of M2+ and OH-.... Aur iit Ka professor banke betha hua hai.....

M2+ ion is generated by corrosion reaction (metal dissolution) and O2 is a dissolving oxygen from air/environment.

Better watch his earlier lecture or read basic of electro chemistry

Gibbs free energy as every metal will tend to attend a stable stage.
