Thanks Prof Dutta. An elaborate mathematical treatment on convex functions and convex sets. Also showing the importance of convex optimization by proving that every local minimum is also a global minimum. These lectures are so important as it helps us communicate in the language of mathematics. Loved the last part of the lecture where different classes of convex optimization problems are discussed namely Linear Programming subjected to linear constraint, Quadratic Optimization subjected to linear (affine) constraints and finally on Semidefinite programming problems. Thank you.
