Probability current density is discussed. Then the evolution of a gaussian wavepacket in time. Consideration is given to d/dt and d/dt using Ehrenfest's theorem. The dispersion of the wavepacket is noted and then the Professor talks about the dispersion of various waves in media. Then a thought experiment of how light would behave if it had mass. Finally a summary of the basis of relativistic QM with some historical perspective.

he really zipped through the commutator algebra. obviously the students in the class follow him probably because of earlier homework assignments, but i had to sit down and figure it out with plenty of starts and stops between. totally worth it thought! fantastic physical insights. thanks prof b!
