Cool the core down to 500 kelvin, without overloading heat it up to 3500 (after 3500 enable cooling and set lasers to low) it will take a hour but it does worth it P.S: to get safeguard fail turn off coolant lasers at 170 and enable safeguard (as soon as coolant lasers cool-down is over activate them again)

They should make a legit feature where something similar to this somehow actually happens. The core could literally go crazy blowing up the facility while freezing it and turning into a black hole. We need another event that is actually about the core and is an event we keep forever. Another idea I had was this. What if there was an entire loss of control and communication with Sector C (the core area) and a worse version of meltdown or freezedown happened with new music and new objectives.

What if we didn't even know anything happening in the chamber, and had to rely on experience to run the reactor? As in, instrument failure but controls still work. Great challenge for the experienced people, and destruction of the noobs.

Oh and how the fridge do you escape this? Freezedown would be escaped via shuttle but I think meltdown prevents that. And meltdown would be survived by hiding in the emergency bunker with all generators fueled but freezedown prevents that possibility from working. I am pretty sure you are doomed once this begins.
