I graduated from IIT Bombay and I can assure that the guys like this IIT Bhilai guy get very harsh reality check when they enter college thinking they are better than everyone else. When they find that IIT is not only about academics but you need a bit of social skills as well to excel. Being humble is always helps, be it IITian or any other college. They way he is making fun of his friend for NM, it is sureshot recipe of disaster. The sooner he realize, the better. I have seen few classmates who actually not doing any good in IIT but keep boasting about big things in IIT. And after 4 years, the real outside world made them to pay for wasting their 4 years in fake ego and superiority complex.

The problem is that is how they motivate you to study that insanely hard na. Everyone tells you that bro if you get into IIT you will be better than everyone else. So you don't sleep at night and kill yourself for it. And then naturally you'll act like it. Weirdly it's only kids who are just getting in who act like it. IIT passouts are very sorted (most of them). I guess when you enter IIT you realise that you're not that special and everyone here is an IITan. And 4 years of IIT just beats the pride out of you.

The competition, the rat race, the stress. It changes a person. He was fine before he got in. But after he did, something was off about him. He wasn't even egoistic like the kid in the audience. I study in what others call worst possible , a govt college (not engineering) but i just love it .I dont have to give a shit about college , i do things my way,Do whatever i want to and not be forced by them in any manners they just want me to clear exams and done thus i dont have to sit with others and learn c language basics which i know but i am in lab or home learning some frameworks and shit. In short be in the driving seat if u believe ur a good driver and enjoy the journey without being interrupted.

And bhai mai IITians ki ijjat karta hu. Its just joh ceo ki tu baat kar raha hai na, uski uske auditor se phat ti hai, kyuki ek negative cheez audit report mai aayi and company ki shares gir jate hai and pure bod and ki lag jati hai. Also, kai companies ke BOD composition mai CA hote hai and those are above those CEOs. But, engineering ko kharab nahi bol rha hu, its just I felt that CA is better option for me than IIT delhi. And mai toh abhi CA final ka pehle attempt dene wala hu so mere under toh nahi but maine actually kai IITians ko mere CA seniors ke under humesha dekha hai. Isiliye share kiya
