almost every legend's tactical can be counter like caustic gas/catalyst/lifeline then we have Bangalore tactical with super short CD, 2 charges and no way to counter even with Digi or bloodhound ultimate

Valk as the lowest legend is criminal. There is no way in hell a team would pick mirage, alter, mirage, vantage, ash, loba, ballistic, octane over Valk who is getting hard buffed next season. I understand Valk ult is hard to pull off without mountain cover but she provides way more than all the legends I named and she will be able to scan beacon next split

One of the best if not THE BEST players to play this game so this is not directed at Timmy. BUT NA is so lazy with comps in ALGS. No imagination or counter picks. So many just copy paste choices it's boring. My hot take for what it's worth.

not too familiar w apex, what makes comp tier list different from ranked tier list?

Basically ranked is just hard w key people and constant 3v3 fights. You dont need to worry about rotations into zone or getting god spots. On the other hand, comp is quite the opposite. You dont want to have that many 3v3 fights, specially in early game bc of the chances of getting 3rd partied. You want to make early rotations into god spots for endgame if you have zone on you. If you dont have zone, you have to play edge in order to get more kills so you can get some points. That been said. According to these points, some characters are suitable for ranked playstyle, like Revenant, Bloodhound, Lifeline, Path, etc. While there are others that are suitable for comp like Wattson, Crypto, Bang, Caustic, Conduit, Fuse, etc.

Bangalore has been the same for 5 years straight of Apex, then pro players start using her, and she will keep getting nerfed every other season until she's not useable in high ranked and comp games anymore. I'v always loved Bangalore, and I always felt like she was the embodiment of a balanced character. Nothing changed, except pro players started using her, and now she's already recieved multiple nerfs over the last few seasons, and there will come more nerfs. What would be much better is if they actually started buffing bad legends, or introducing new legends that were actually good enough to be used in high tier games. Instead they just keep nerfing all the legends that we all have loved and still love playing after 5 years
