This was well before battle royal was an established genre. They want a more grounded and serious gun based mode. So what do they do? They directly rip off Counter Strike 1 to 1. You have no critical thinking skills.

@@draganov8814 Incorrect. DayZ: Battle Royale was first and it was created by moding Arma 2. Guess who made that mod? Player Unknown AKA why it's called Player Unknown's Battleground. Then Sony recruited him to work on the battle royale mode for H1Z1. I count PUB:G as first because it was the first game made from the ground up to be Battle Royale. Then the very second Epic Games saw PUG:G doing well, they nabbed the formula from Player Unknown with almost no deviations and the rest is history.

Fortnite has so many unique weapons, vehicles, map designs, infinite collabs and even live events which no other game does it like Fortnite.
