today in California is 65 degrees and sunny no snow tires needed , no need to plug in your cars, black ice , shoveling snow etc. Alberta fired me as a RN best thing to happen to me went to usa and living the American dream.

@Landon-o7t Calgary’s a decent sized city, and might cover more area, but Vancouver has a larger population, and metropolitan area. Vancouver has 2.7 million, Calgary 1.6 and Edmonton has 1.5.

So unfair, Calgary has been remaining stunning beautiful in a unique way all of the seasons with Baff as city Backyard, but it just never gets enough attention it deserves. The idle airport is very much telling... YYC security waiting time 5minutes while Vancouver could be 1 hour. Tourists number different...

Canadian nurses check out working in the usa so much better working conditions. no more two weeks of days and two weeks of nights bs. you work straight days, evenings or nights no going back and forth. talk about burn out or what

@ernieyick1933 How many posts do you need to tell everyone that you like California and nursing there better than Alberta? Your posts are overkill! I’d pick Canada despite its weather, over Trump and the US any day. We all have our priorities. I was born in Canada, to British and American parents, so have citizenship in all 3. I went to university in the US, and then worked in the US for a number of years. I like the warmer weather of the US, but I prefer Canada, the work life balance, and the people here, over the US, any day. To each their own!
