The only problem with Yamato in this is the AA for the fact in reality, it has 150+ 25mm AA guns.

In historical accuracy the AA from that ship was anything but good. it's just that the men who operated what most of it's AA are resilient which made them last for around an hour and a half on water.

Having to fight Yamatos while in a North Dakota just shows how terrible the matchmaking is in this game. I was so pissed, full broadside shots couldn’t even scratch his armor

Yamato were designed to fight Multiple Battleships (Especially South Dakota Class) as much as possible. So yeah, not a lot of BBs have power to kill her in the current state.

Dps is damage per second. As I know that is the average damage that each ship can cause per second in a perfect condition

Well, I think gaijin nerfed it. AA is quite weak, turn time is really long. However, Yamato in game still over power compared with another rank 4 ships, excepted Soyuz.

Most of the gun caliber at the moment, Yamato designed to be Battleship Brawler. Where she designed to face multiple Battleships at once. And her design is to counter South Dakota Class Battleships. Yamato have Historically 410mm of Belt armor. Which is enough to deflects a lot of incoming shots from other ships in the current WT meta. We don’t have other ships with 406s or 410s. Any gun lowered calibered than that cannot pen Yamato properly. I don’t think they can nerf her from this current state apart from her weapons. Or they have to release other Battleships like Iowa or other BBs with 406+ who have better chance to kill Yamato. Oh and the Armor proof in the footage of 406s pen through 410mm of belt armor of “Yamato Class” is the rejected plating. So those plate are not the real armor of Yamato Class.

Well, Soyuz has the balance between power and mobility. Yamato has the best power in the game but the mobility is the worst :”) In the open maps I will choose Yamato, in the narrow maps I will go with Soyuz :v So that, it really hard to say which one I like most :”)

@@danieldelucca1344 if u can, I highly recommend u to buy Soyuz as a premium ship instead of Iowa. Iowa have a good fire power and mobility but the armor is not good. In this meta, bad armor made u die quickly. But if u cant wait, Iowa still a good choice 😉

Stalingrad has a good max speed and normal armor, Kronstadt has less max speed compared with Stalingrad but the survivability is better than Stalingrad. The different between fire power of both ships is not much. So that with me, Kronstadt is better.
