At balibaliktarin pa man ang mundo lalaki pa rin sila, physicaly gamit na gamit ang katawang lalaki nila to endure those kind of jobs kasi nga lalaki naman talaga sila at mabilis ang isip nila sa mga physical activitie, artistic side na lang siguro ang pag aayos nila sa sarili nila kapag beki mode na nila, pero pag trabaho-trabahong kalabaw talaga.Salute!👊

it is argued as a ‘very simple solution’ that is connected to the words such as ‘respect’ and ‘equality’ for a narrow minded person like you. The thing about SOGIE bill is those people who have not read it aggresively chime in and in the process muddle everything up. You posit arguments that are actually ludicrous, albeit the fact that you don’t know any better. For example, you fear that if it becomes a law, men would dress themselves up as women so they could enter comfort rooms reserved for ladies and rape them. This is a bit far-fetched, to say the least. In the more than 30 years the law has been implemented in other countries, there was only one incident of the same nature that was reported and it didn’t even lead to rape. In the meantime, thousands of women are sexually abused from around the world. In the Philippines alone, almost 8,000 cases of rape are reported each year (PNP, Center for Women’s Resources) and the perpetrators don’t have to go the extra mile of pretending to be women since well, spiking drinks like what Bill Cosby does or outright using force can easily get the job done. In addition, some also claim that by “giving in” to trans people, it would result into an absurd situation where the state would be forced to also give in to those others who identify themselves differently from what they are, say a Filipino who identifies himself as a Chinese or an adult who identifies himself as a child. Well, this seems plausible on the surface. But let’s get real. How many Filipinos who see themselves as Chinese or what have you, for instance, are out there? Do they even exist? If so, would they actually stand up for what they identify themselves with if doing so means getting bullied, harassed or even killed? Do they know that a spate of violence against trans people claimed the lives of at least 369 individuals from 2017-2018 (Amnesty Int’l)? If gender identity is simply a matter of convenience or even a strongly felt experience, no one in his right mind would be willing to endure the ordeal of having to be beaten up or becoming a victim of hate crime or even at the very least being ostracized by his family because he sees himself as a woman. Truth be told, it’s a lot easier being a man if you are one. You’re not risking anything. Anyway, some also oppose the measure because they heard it seeks to impose stiffer penalties. This is a valid concern although it should be stated that it’s still pending in Congress and therefore not yet set in stone. Nevertheless, the imposition of penalty should be the least of anyone’s concern unless he intends to violate it. And why would he? There’s a lot of ridiculous laws out there but he never breaks them. Why? Because of the penalties imposed. So there. Lastly, there are those who say the law violates our freedom of religion. This makes sense to a certain extent. Some people who believe homosexuals are sinners, for example, shouldn’t be forced to recognize they’re not. However, their belief should not be an excuse not to obey the measure assuming it becomes a law. In the case of Gerona v. Secretary of Education, the Supreme Court states that “between the freedom of belief and the exercise of said belief, there is quite a stretch of road to travel. If the exercise of said religious belief clashes with the established institutions of society and with the law, then the former must yield and give way to the latter. The government steps in and either restrains said exercise or even prosecutes the one exercising it.” So, the freedom to believe is still protected. Which means a pastor, notwithstanding the measure, may still go out there and preach against homosexuality without fear of reprisal. Such right to his religious beliefs is a constutionally guaranteed right that can never be transgresed upon. It’s only the expression of such right (freedom to act) that should be subservient to the law. At any rate, the proposed measure (if they cared to read it first) is careful not to interfere with religious freedom. So, there’s nothing to worry about. I really hope that people regardless of their respective opinions on the issue would ultimately take time out to consider where everyone is coming from so they can judiciusly propose some concessions that are acceptable to all. The SOGIE bill is more than a rest room issue. It’s about addressing inequities that should have no place in our society. During the turn of the century, women from all over the United Kingdom demanded that they should be accorded the right to vote. In what was later known as suffragette scandal, a lot of British women had to sacrifice their lives and liberty before they got what they wanted. At that time, asking for a right to vote was too much considering they were already accorded certain rights like the right to work despite the fact they should just stay at home. Of course, such a perspective would be frowned upon now. Denying women of their right to suffrage is just plain ridiculous. I wonder what people fifty years from now, who clearly are removed from our cultural trappings, would look.

Juan Ferdinand Blardony Yes, respect begets respect and i think that this should be observed by both parties (lgbt and straight). SOGIE Bill provides security and protection for the members of the LGBT community as they are more susceptible to discrimination not just in the community but also in the workplace. Dahil sa kanilang gender identity, maraming miyembro ng LGBT community ang nade-denied sa mga opportunities. Anyway, i think you should read the full bill para you’ll understand more about the bill.
