Every time I see you fly this plane I think that it absolutely has to be my next investment. It just seems so responsive. Tons of fun! I hope this isn't the last flight for it.

I like the ovionic packs too! In my FMS explorer, i use 3s 3000mah. A Smart 3s/2200,flight time is short! 2 1/2 minutes. (Power starving motor! 😁. The motor, stock is 6s ready. Esc isn't.) It does the best & easiest knife edges ive ever done! Minute stick input too! Did my 1st knife edge loop yesterday with it! 👍

Are you going to get the G2 version GG? What a powerhouse and joy to fly! I still need to fix my G1 after her first crash... enjoing the G2 too much for now. I got to this channel via your G1 and got stuck ;-) I love the Pitts as well and thus stay!!!

For $40 you can buy the 4s upgrade motor from flex, it runs on the stock esc.go up on the prop one size and you're good to go.3s is underpowered on this plane.

This plane is no longer, but I looked for the 4s motor back then and thought it was discontinued. 👍💯

Retire it? just need to balance your prop and spinner and check how secure the motor is to the firewall..

How long did it take to wear out this model Mamba? I am going to buy one but am unsure if the 3s is best for me or the 6s. Any advice for choosing one over the other would be greatly appreciated. My wife says it has to last a long long time because it will be the last plane I can buy for many years since I already have to many.

I bought this used, and it did great. I crashed it several times before it wasn't repairable. The 3s version is good, but I always felt like it needed just a little more power.
