This was SO helpful. When it comes to anything in general, I will pay more willingly if its a unique color or my favorite color. Initially I was against this new iPad simply because it only supports the 1st gen pencil and I already had gotten used to the 2nd gen pencil and the iPad pro (my first purchases). I also wasnt assured this "pink" color was actually going to be pink. It looked coral or red in a lot of photos. But after seeing this video I for sure will be investing in this one. Overall, I'll be saving money too by turning away from the Apple iPad air. Im only sacrificing the Pencil so I hope its a worthy trade off.

Not sure who has though it was a good idea to drastically up the price and make using it more complicated. At least they could have increased the base storage option from 64 to 128gb and made it compatible with the 2. Gen pen. Imo the previous generation or iPad Air offers better value.

@@djduckofficial you had to use an adaptor anyway to charge the thing, If the iPad was *also* charging. Otherwise you just can’t use an Apple Pencil with the thing. Also you forget there is no magnetic charging spot on this iPad anyway. If all you’re gonna do is complaint about the, then get another model. Most people who are gonna get this model probably won’t even care about using an Apple pencil anyway.

Also remember since Apple moved the camera to landscape mode, it removes the ability to use the Apple Pencil 2, thus why the iPad Pros didn't move the cameras just yet. A 3rd gen Pencil will need to come out or a new way to charge the Apple Pencil 2 if all of the iPads move the camera over to landscape. I think Apple took the most requested feature in regards to camera placement and moved it to their most popular iPad line. This makes sense. I get why we have to use gen 1 Apple Pencil for now.

If i was in place of Tim Cook, I’ll place the same A15 Bionic as iPad mini (6th Gen) keep the Apple Pencil (1st Gen) support but include the USB-C to Apple Pencil adapter in the box replacing the included lighting adapter, and that’s it everything else is perfect 👌🏻 For iPad Pro I’ll place the front facing camera in landscape, remove the 12MP main camera and replace the 10MP Ultra Wide with the same 12MP Ultra Wide as iPhone 11, a more detailed LiDAR scanner using the same technology as Face ID, replace the unibody enclosure with a blasted stainless steel frame, and same glass and texture as the MacBook Trackpad keeping the Aluminum unibody look while adding MagSafe charging freeing the Thunderbolt port.
