Just to give you some context the movie is based on the social media influencer culture, there’s a particularly interesting real life influencer couple exist like the onscreen pair, Fashionable influencer guy from Kerala gets with a Rich Middle eastern influencer with roots in Kerala (not sure if their story have anything to do with the movie) also it’s set in the Malabar backdrop where a good number of people are culturally and financially dependant on the Middle East it’s like a second home for them. so a lot of “UAE Craziness” gets carried to the Malabar region thus the Ricer car culture, imported exotic vehicle fanatics and such is seen in these regions. I’m not sure how will these cultural and regional references will translate to Non-Malayali audiences but this movie is going to be big no matter what.
