I’ve used mine about 4 times. The foaming part is not the problem, the issue is I only get foam for about 10 seconds and then it’s just a straight line. I pump it until the I hear the valve whistle. It’s never completely full but not too little product either. I’ll check the filter but not sure what else to do except take it apart and clean it.

I had forgotten to put the exterior sleeve on and that is the second plastic piece that sticks into the liquid. Once I put that back on it should work. I had forgotten I had taken it off. Hopefully you got yours working.

Thanks for the video. No liquid or foam was coming out of my ik foam pro 2 when I pressed the trigger. Thought it was defective and watched the breakdown of the video. Long story short I had to replace the already installed filter with one of the extra filters that came with the unit. Now everything is working as intended.

Thank you! I almost threw away the one I had for 2 years. It kept spraying liquid. Watched your video and found out the o-ring gaskets got ruined from the chemical I used (wheel and rubber cleaner). Well after $5 and a good cleaning works like new!

Yeah I just used WD silicone lube. Thing is wayy easier to pump.

Also sir how do I clean the inside where we pour the liquid ? Say I used a heavy PH soap previously and now using a regular snow foam , how can I assure none of the previous soap is still in there??

Ideally you grease the gaskets/O rings with a little silicone grease.

As far as I know green is dry foam and gray is intermediate foam and oranges wet foam. I like green for tires and wheels.

I have taken mine apart like 2 times already, replaced the little filter twice and still isn't working correctly. I pump it up as I should to get it to spray and it sputters like there isn't any pressure (when there is) and I can't find a fix anywhere. what can I do?

I actually washed the black grease away the first time i tried to clean my IK Foam pro 2, i didn't know it was the grease for the pump, i thought it was like a melted plastic parts, should i reapply a grease into it?

The pointed plastic piece at 6:45. The tiny rubber gasket closest to the tip on my IK Foam 1.5 was deformed. I reassembled the whole thing, and it sprays as I pump up the foamer without pressing the trigger. Does The Rag Company or IK sell those tiny gaskets?

Why not just cycle hot water through it? My IK is getting weak.. after pumping and spraying it also doesn’t stop spray immediately after releasing the trigger..

Depends on the detailing chemical used in them. The ones we have in our studio we haven't cleaned in a while, but every now and then we cycle water through them to release any gunk build up.

My valve is starting to stick Edit: awesome i was able to take it apart. Clean out the hole it sets in and lubed up the small o-ring. I also found a small piece of what looked like MF where that small output hole it. Cant wait to see if that was affecting anything.
