Brother there are lots of koch villages in assam also who have kept n preserved there languages, tradition, attires etc like out here in meghalaya such as magurmari, kolbari, debitola etc but me too i find it difficult that how others who claim to be koch doesn't even know a single sentence or word of our language how...because i have been to those villages in assam and they say that only in meghalaya the koch people our mother tongue and their are many rajbongshis out here who use to say that they are bengali or assamese and they have been staying for decades
