তিতুমীর কলেজ স্বতন্ত্র বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় হবে না। এমনটাই জানালেন শিক্ষা ও পরিকল্পনা উপদেষ্টা ড. ওয়াহিদউদ্দিন মাহমুদ। ২ ফেব্রুয়ারি রাজধানীর শেরেবাংলা নগরের এনইসি সম্মেলন কক্ষে একনেক সভা পরবর্তী ব্রিফিংয়ে এই মন্তব্য করেন তিনি। উপদেষ্টা বলেন, সাত কলেজ নিয়ে আলাদা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় স্থাপনের কাজ চলছে। তিতুমীর কলেজের আন্দোলনরত শিক্ষার্থীদের পড়ালেখায় মনোযোগ দেওয়ার পরামর্শ উপদেষ্টার। তবে জনদুর্ভোগ না হয় এমন আন্দোলনেও মানা নেই। সংশোধিত বাজেট প্রস্তুতির কাজ শুরু হবে আগামী সপ্তাহে।
