38:04 To answer the question on this bizarre part of the puzzle: A normal instrument is supposed to have knobs on the top part of the instrument, to adjust the tension of the wires and hit the right frequencies to play. The cursed instrument he selected, second from the right, didn't have these adjusting knobs, which makes it cursed. Same for the first puzzle: The moons are supposed to face away to help sounds project out from the instrument better. Having the moons face each other means having a larger piece of wood near the centre, which affects and distorts the frequency & clarity of the music it produces. TL;DR Both of the instrument puzzles needed you to identify which instrument was designed incorrectly.

For anyone about to watch this guide!!! (As of 4/15/22 & 4/16/22) There was an update for the game that might have changed some of the objectives, like the 2nd instrument puzzle. I picked up a physical copy of the game today. I ran through the game a few times. (Once for fun, then the platinum and so on. This guide was amazing and helped every step of the way! ❤️) Once I got to the 2nd instrument puzzle it was the same answer every single time. For me, it was the the very first instrument on the left side. You can also adjust the pen speed for when you make seals. Just in case someone might have trouble getting the wall puzzle done the first time. You can set the pen down to 0 if needed. During my playthrough most of the doors I ran through stayed open too. Which was useful if I died and needed to start at a checkpoint. Even after cutscenes and completely leaving the area a good bit of the doors stayed open which made traveling easier. I don't know if it was just a glitch but the part of the game where the worm is supposed to come out of the well. It never did lol. It always came from the side room next to the table where you have to make the seal. For some reason the door was always open too so there were times where if I closed it before I made the seal it never came in. I also figured out it's easier to do the hide and seek segment if you tap R2 every so often. But the sisters starting location has been random for me every time. On top of that you'll either have a very easy time catching her or she literally runs like the flash lol. Good luck, this is a very easy platinum. #214 for me 💪🏼💙

Great guide, thank you! One thing I do have to say is I was unable to run through the left side of the forest at 30:17 without getting caught. I either heard the growl and hid and din't get the trophy, or got caught. I must have reloaded my save on PS4 about 20 times before I finally gave in and just went from bush to bush (following your same path, not sure if that part matters) until I reached the end. No growl, didn't get caught, and I got the trophy. My game is updated to v1.02, so maybe the dev changed something in this part, or maybe I was just unlucky. Either way, if anyone else is following this guide and having the same bad luck, all I did was go from bush to bush, crouching in each bush as I got there, and then after making sure the coast was clear, I sorta ran to the next bush. I walked, and while walking, I tapped R2 to kinda hop/skip, which was a bit faster. When I did see the worm, I stayed in the bush until it was gone. It didn't see me in the bush whether I was crouched or standing, but that could have been a fluke. The last half dozen bushes I didn't get any audio prompts or see the worm, so that part was pretty quick.

Fact: at 11:58 you unlock achievement for not touching fire if u do touch fire on xbox you can clear cache aka delete from console and then load back up the game and u can just walk forward and unlock achievement, this delete from console aka clear cache is a great thing xbox has because it helps from u losing any chances of getting achievements. so if u set on fire quit game and also go to ikai pause on it manage games and addons saved data userprofile delete from console thank me later u can probably just walk forward but i went throuh a couple flames and then went to shrine and it unlocked

Weird a cloud back-up save just outside of the well just before the worm in the woods didn't work... Took me right near the start by the broom looking for dirty laundry :/ But near end a back up save by the get the pattern right (just before katana) did work, phew. Thanks for the guide, I quite enjoyed this lil indie game :)

You pick up a key, which I actually figure is to unlock the shrines cabinet with the mask near the endgame. There's no way to open it before we get this key.

if you get hit shut the game off turn it back on hit continue and keep trying at any time if you get hit before you beat the third flame trap you'll still get the trophy

@@steven27ish Finally got it on PS4. Now going for plat on PS5. The Expert Priestess spiderweb one is also super annoying. I've sat here for literally 30 mins trying to place the paper on the right paddle and keep failing. No joke, I've done this easily 20x already. On the ps4 I just put it on the fourth one and luckily got it on first try.

@@mattmurdock8446 For the spider web one you're going to look for the paddle that doesn't have the string adjustments on the top four of them will have string adjustments on the top and one won't that's the one you need to pick
