Same here kuya Nano. I’m here at US, so ( crying) eh na busy ako that day. My adopted bro’s mom was in the hospital, so I had to be there for support, So I missed it July 10, Thunder Valley,Sacramento. Eh dream ko eto

This is not a singing contest so we have to stop judging because of the belting or something. Ikaw is a beautiful song, a classic by Sharon and they’re singing it for the public. They have two different styles, one is a soprano-belter, the other an alto-emotional singer.

Agreed. In general, i dont get why people have to compare singers, and that somebody has to be proclaimed as a better singer, when the criteria for a good singer can actually vary from technicalities to emotional connections et al. Some people just have to thrive in that competitive space, at the expense of the artists… peace.

@@sunnycastillo Thanks for echoing my view. Filipinos are super talented, so I hope we stop thinking of music like Olympic contest of who can raise the highest tone. That's not the definition of music. And some, like me, don't patronize that. I actually love Sharon, Ice Seguerra, and Pinoy bands.
