I highly doubt he called Ike "Ikey" first time but rather "Ike-Eve(land)" but mumbling and without the -ku in Aiku (Ike) , like how he called Pomu "Pom". The "Eve" just accidentally became ey vowel in Ikey. But he definitely did called Ikey after Ike laughed about it!!! TT I really hope they will collab more in future, maybe just the two of them so they can talk more ;;; Man, I am so grateful for Yugo and these Telephone game collab, it's the perfect medium for both JP&EN livers to interact. And the line up this time was insane, like how they hell did he managed to get Ike, shachou, Akira in the same collab? Me personally I passed out when I saw the schedule lmfao If only he got Leos as well... my quadfecta of nerds in glasses.... Wah sorry for the rant but I have so much on my mind about this collab lol Thank you for the clip!! Really appreciate it ;; EDIT: I have no idea why I can't reply to anyone at all so I gotta edit the comment TT Yes, I am very aware that shachou KNEW about the nickname (back then when he did Koshien), there's a whole episode of him being surprised at how cute the game pronounced Ikey and feeling awkward bcs the game called him "Ikey-san", hence he called him "Aikou" instead - it was probably one of my most favorite moments last Koshien! As for why I thought he didn't call Ikey here in the telephone game, it was a combination of pronunciation (like I stated above), him probably still feel a bit awkward with the name "Ikey" (he called Ike 'Aikou' later on in this stream), and also because talking to ppl face-to-face is very different than giving nicknames in a game. I thought it would be a bit out of character for him to do that so suddenly without asking first (given the background knowledge of them didn't really have much chance to talk directly for the Mayday duet). But that could be the case bcs they've warmed up around each other more than I thought! Which makes me SUPER HAPPY fr fr and I really hope they will collab again soon!

I think Shachou meant to say Ikey bc he’s called him that and Ichael during his pawapuro baseball streams in Nijisanji Koushien! I love that they’re being able to collaborate more recently especially since they have so much in common!

@@nielle_ ​ @nyelly I highly doubt so even if he knows because watching him for a long time, I don't feel like he's one to call Ike's nickname so soon/out of nowhere (especially since Ike exchanged about how they hardly have direct conversation/always going through managers due to language barrier and Ike being shy). I also can hear the k- and -eve kinda separated, sounds like he meant to call Ike-Eve(land) more than just Ikey. If he meant to do it then I would be really happy since that means they're a lot closer than what Ike disclosed on his stream.
