Can I mount the transformer on the bottom and run the cables from there? Will they reach?😊

Yes, you can as the wire is long enough.

does this work with just the light switch or do you need the ikea remote dimmer?

It only works with dimmer, which is sold separately as per the instructions manual.

Yes, the wire connection was placed as per different layout. I also don‘t like it but hard to change now :(
