Suggestion. This is amazing I just did mine. However I would change it slightly. Lose the wood, to expensive to difficult to manipulate cuttings and stick on walls. Paint the outline of your project, talking into account the mirror size and the required space between each mirror. For added effect add extra space to the outer edges. Make yourself a H shaped jig the size so your mirror pieces fits nuggly inside. Make each side of your H jig the exact measurements you want for the spacing. This way you only have to really worry about proper level on your bottom row. Just move the jig over each mirror as you work your way up.

Your methode to place the mirrors straight is perfect!! Since I know I would also make a mess of finishing with the sticks, I think I'm gonna go for first painting my wall with black chalk paint.

Looks great!! Very very pretty! When working without a helper, you can use painter's tape to temporarily hold items (e.g., tall sticks, mirrors, etc....) in place on the wall. Also, try cutting the silicone so that the opening is smaller. Thanks so much for sharing!

It means you didn’t place the la straight. Like they point a bit downwards or upwards etc so the proportions of the body change

When it comes to silicone seeping out of the cracks, you use a spudger (or small spatula) to scrape off as much as you can, then simply wait for it to dry and you can just peel it off like a sticker. It’s not too big of an issue as long as you don’t smear it very thinly to where it’s not all connected.

I did not use a wood panel and it was perfectly fine but if you want to make it more renter friendly than ad it on the back so you can take it out easily

Also mine wasn’t but I’d there is flex and the mirror bend the reflection is all deformed. In my case I just tried to keep it as equal as possible while facing an uneven wall
