ur amazing! very clever and very good with ur hands!! btw, how did u install the painting on the wall (above the bed head)? i have paintings which are abt heavy and have glass sheets on them... i want to keep them on our wall without worrying about "what if they fall?"
@NicoleHerrickDIY2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! This one doesn’t have the glass in it as it’s a painting I did. For heavy frames and mirrors I use drywall anchors. They hold a LOT of weight. There are different kinds but I use the plastic ones that look like a cone.
@yyysboy12 жыл бұрын
@@NicoleHerrickDIY thank you. any power tool needed to use the drywall hooks? :)
@NicoleHerrickDIY2 жыл бұрын
@@yyysboy1 no, all you need is a screwdriver and it will penetrate through drywall.

How much did you end up spending for this project? The IKEA bed frame I wish to purchase is out of stock and any other upholstered frames are either over budget or got bad reviews. This might be the path to take for me.

So I already had the bed, the mdf board cost $50, I used scrap lumber but around $5 worth, foam was free as I cut up a mattress (foam can be very expensive), wadding $30, fabric $45, spray adhesive $10, staples $7, fishing line $1, mattress needle $5. So about $143. Plus if you don’t already have a powered stapler, I would recommend one of those. But you can get cheaper versions and non powered for $10 and up.

Have you ever been told that your clothes are covered in cat hair. When you swiped your "freshly" made bed, fur flew every where. 😷
