Commenting at 4 : 25 ... It's wonderful that you're getting to enjoy all this first-time stuff. So happy for you. I will say, it's easy to get caught up in the "dream" of it all. When I got my first home, omfg, I literally got everything, lol. (But also had a house-mate to share the expense.) After getting it all organized and decorated (the most fun of it all), I got lots of compliments on it. It looked like something out of a magazine (my thoughts at the time), even though my mode of decor is more eclectic (even before that was acceptable, ha). I don't regret the experience, it was an incomparable joy. But after all the fun part was over, I got kinda bored with it. Overwhelmed with all the work of owning a home. I think we're sort of brainwashed to want/"need" a lot of this stuff (I got every kitchen gadget imaginable) ... As I "evolved," I became more of a minimalist. It took me years to get rid of all that stuff, lol. Now I rarely buy anything from a retail shop. I still love beautiful and high-quality things. Just way more selective in what I allow to clutter up my space (it's about freedom and truly loving everything in one's space)> I do love to thrift :-) And some of my fav things I got from a thrift store. High quality items (even some that were originally from IKEA). For me, I would always go to the thrift store, before seeking an item out in a retail shop. All that aside, it's so awesome to see you joyful.

It feels like you’re at an IKEA in Sweden because it looks exactly as the IKEA stores looks here in Sweden (of course they do). I’ve never been to an IKEA outside of Sweden, it would probably feel like back home 😆🥰
