As a huge Bonobo fan, this is pure gold ! i've always wanted to see his workflow and deconstruct sound by sound what gives the actual Bonobo's vibe ❤ such an incredible artist !

damnnn never thought this amazing sound of bonobo music comes from a small studio with very low ceiling and a tiny apple screen.

when the camera switches to the left, this studio seems not so small :)

That apple cinema screens show up in a lot of high production studios. Those screens were ahead of their time.
@adiariel6726 Жыл бұрын
@@Hairybarryy for sure they know how to sell, i am not exactly a fan of apple products.. my point on that screen is its junky.. (witch in apple products usually means the pc is also old and junky = not a lot of plugins can run on it) and with that junk he makes gold.. was very eye opening for me..

Wow, 2010 looks like it was centuries ago. And I see incessant camera zooming was still _en vogue_ - thank you for posting this ❤

I have loved seeing this and other similar artist walk through videos. As an aspiring artist about a year into my education its really helpful to see both his candor relaxed methods of curiously trying different things to see how it feels. Also seeing his setup really helps me keep into perspective that creativity is not bought. Anyone that tells you otherwise is selling something

Thank you for the upload, saw someone mention this on another video and thought Id track it down. Mad seeing the insides of a classic like this one

Loved being able to see this, wow. He seems so chill its crazy to me. I need to take a cue from that when I'm trying to make a track and bugging out that nothing seems to be clicking. I also love that one of his main go-to bits of advice is just "try little bits of sounds that seem like they fit" Just that simple huh... mess around with little bits of sounds until Kiara falls out. For real though, its good advice... just work with things until they fit and follow what your ears are telling you about the track. But, also go to the bargain bin at your nearest music store and buy everything in it.

See how much better Logic's Sampler is nowadays. This is wicked. There's loads of other artists I wanna see break down a track and go through their process like this.

It's so jarring to me that the most beautiful arranged electronic music is made in a little home studio like this, and starting with basic beats. It really makes me remember all songs start at nil.

There used to be a video up on KZbin of Bonobo in his NYC studio from just a few years ago, so much more recent, but it seems to have been taken down.

Quickly downloaded the 8Bitone app while watching this but can't find those sounds or any other presets on there at all. Anyone else find them?
@mariusglaser40202 жыл бұрын
I don't have this App in particular, but I use SynthOne and DRC a lot and sample it in my DAW or the PO-KO. Try them! They are really powerful & 4 free.
